The Continental Grand Prix 5000S TR is the new standard for tubeless-ready road bike tyres. Lighter, faster and with stronger sidewalls than its predecessor, this tyre sets new standards in road tubeless technology. In the narrow 25-622 size, the tyre is particularly appealing to competitive cyclists seeking maximum speed with minimum weight (approx. 250 grams). The tyre delivers up to 20 per cent higher speed, offers 28 per cent more sidewall protection and is 50 grams lighter than the previous tubeless version. Compatible with both hooked and hookless rims.

  • Tubeless Ready: The tyre can be used with an inner tube or as a tubeless tyre with sealant. Easy to fit using a floor pump.
  • BlackChili Compound: Continental’s own rubber compound, offering the ideal balance between grip and minimal rolling resistance.
  • Vectran Breaker: A feather-light, cut-resistant puncture-proof layer made from liquid crystal polymer — five times stronger than steel.
  • LazerGrip: A laser-etched micro-profiled texture on the shoulder for excellent grip when cornering.
  • Active Comfort Technology: Absorbs vibrations for a more comfortable driving experience.
  • Hookless compatible: Suitable for modern hookless rims (max. 73 psi).
