Privacy Policy

HealthyDNA processes personal data carefully and only for what is needed to help you properly — through the contact form, during a DNA analysis or coaching programme, and through the web shop.

Who is responsible for your data

HealthyDNA works with two legal entities, each responsible for the data processed in its own country:

  • ESQ Products & Services BV (BE 0811.209.911), Amazonelaan 19, 8450 Bredene, Belgium — for coaching, the web shop and general contact from Belgium.
  • Clinica Montgo SL, Avenida Principal de la Serra 170, 03599 Altea, Spain — for the DNA analysis, blood tests and medical supervision through Clinica Montgo (Denia).

For questions about your data, whichever entity is involved: info@healthydna.fit.

Which data we collect

  • Contact form: name, email address and your message, plus the subject you choose.
  • DNA analysis and blood tests: health data resulting from your sample collection and the lab report. These are special categories of personal data under the GDPR — we process them only with your explicit, separate consent, given at the intake for the analysis.
  • Coaching programme: data you share yourself at intake and during follow-up (goals, progress, any medically relevant context).
  • Web shop: order, payment and shipping data (name, address, email address, telephone number, products ordered). The payment itself is processed through Mollie, and shipping through Sendcloud.
  • Cookies and similar technology: see below.

Why we process this data

  • To answer your question sent through the contact form.
  • To carry out a DNA analysis, blood test or coaching programme you have chosen.
  • To process and deliver an order in the web shop.
  • To analyse the site and show relevant advertisements, with your consent (see Cookies).

The legal basis is usually the performance of the contract you enter into with us, or a step leading up to it (for example your question through the contact form). For health data and for cookies beyond the strictly necessary, we always ask for your explicit consent separately.

Cookies

The site uses cookies from Google Analytics and Meta Pixel to measure how the site is used and to tailor advertisements. These cookies are only placed after you agree to them through the cookie banner; you can withdraw your consent at any time through the Cookies link at the bottom of every page. Strictly necessary cookies (for example to make the site work correctly) are not subject to this consent requirement.

How long we keep data

We keep your data for as long as needed for the purpose we collected it for, and in any case until you ask us to delete it. If you ask for deletion, we delete your data, except what we are legally required to keep for longer (for example accounting records of a purchase).

Who we share data with

We do not pass your data on to third parties to sell it. We do work with processors that process data on our behalf:

  • Resend — for sending emails through the contact form and the web shop emails (such as order confirmations).
  • Vercel — for hosting the website and the web shop storefront.
  • Mollie — for processing payments in the web shop.
  • Sendcloud — for shipping and track-and-trace of orders.
  • TransIP — for hosting the web shop platform on a server in the Netherlands.
  • Google and Meta — for analytics and advertising, only with your consent through the cookie banner.
  • The European university lab that carries out the DNA analyses on behalf of Clinica Montgo.

Some of these parties may process data outside the EU; in that case we ensure appropriate safeguards such as the EU standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have inaccurate data corrected, to erasure, to restriction of processing, to object to processing, and to data portability. You can exercise these rights through info@healthydna.fit.

If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority (Belgium) where ESQ Products & Services BV is concerned, or with the AEPD (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos) where Clinica Montgo SL is concerned.

Changes to this policy

We may amend this privacy policy, for example when we add new services or tools. The date of the latest change is shown at the bottom of this page.
