The Continental Terra Competition Race Rapid is Continental’s fastest gravel tyre ever. Launched in 2026, this tyre has been specially designed for cyclists who want to blur the line between road cycling and gravel riding. The Race Rapid version (40-622) is geared towards maximum speed and acceleration on tarmac, compacted ground and light gravel in dry to slightly damp conditions. With up to 17% lower rolling resistance and a 16% weight reduction compared to the Terra Speed, this is the ultimate choice for uncompromising gravel performance.
