The Continental Terra Competition Race Rapid in the wide 45-622 size offers all the benefits of Continental’s fastest-ever gravel tyre in a larger Volume for extra comfort and traction on tougher gravel routes. Launched in 2026, this tyre combines the speed-oriented Rapid compound with a Race casing for maximum performance on tarmac, compacted ground and light gravel. The larger size offers greater riding comfort at lower tyre pressures without compromising on speed — ideal for long gravel rides and bikepacking. Up to 17% lower rolling resistance compared to the Terra Speed. Tubeless Ready and hookless compatible.

  • Rapid Compound: Speed-optimised rubber with BlackChili technology for maximum speed and acceleration on flat terrain and when climbing.
  • Race Casing: The lightest and fastest construction — light, supple and single-layered for minimal weight and optimum responsiveness.
  • Tubeless Ready: The tyre can be used with an inner tube or as a tubeless tyre with sealant (a minimum of 30 ml is recommended).
  • Hookless compatible: Suitable for modern hookless rims within the specified maximum pressure.
  • E-Bike approved: Certified for use on electric bikes up to 25 km/h (E-25).
