Developed in collaboration with bikepacking legend Lael Wilcox, the Oracle Ridge is 48 mm wide, making it a perfect fit for many modern gravel bikes. We name our tyres after the passes that have inspired them: Oracle Ridge is a beautiful gravel climb just outside Tucson, AZ. One of Lael’s favourite routes involves climbing the dirt road to Oracle Ridge, then descending the backside of Mount Lemmon on ultra-fast tarmac.
Whilst the Oracle Ridge looks like a knobby tyre – and grips like one when conditions get tough – it rolls and corners like a slick tyre thanks to its large, strategically placed knobs that do not squirm and always maintain the same contact patch with the road. The staggered tread pattern not only makes the Oracle Ridge roll even more smoothly, it also reduces tyre noise by creating overlapping frequencies that cancel each other out.
